In Witch I stick to my day job

I bought a Groupon for a 2 day screenwriting lecture at the University of Toronto on a whim. I don’t know what the session entails, but if it requires me to have some type of project— I’ll be screwed. If worst comes to worst, I suppose I’ll have to use the idea Michael, Dean and I joked about last weekend. I was a little hungover, but I think it goes a little something like this:

The series, a western, would be centered around a witch named Dolly, who was sent back in time from the Great Depression to find fortune during the gold rush. Dolly runs the towns only brothel where she’s built close relationships with her staff, in particular a woman called Pepper— the towns oldest, and wisest sex worker. Despite her good nature towards employees, Dolly hates men, especially cowboys and will go out of her way to make life difficult for them. With the fate of an entire witch clan (?) resting square on her shoulders, Dolly is set to saddle up and ride to riches, holding with her the biggest, baddest secret in the West.

Did I mention this program would be called Wild Wild Witch?
